Minor light of Alaska
odiak pharos
The Odiak Pharos minor light was built by Bob and Rose Arvidson in the late 1970s. It was built to help guide Bob home through the Odiak Slough from Cordova. The lighthouse was added to the Coast Guards register after several years of application work by Bob. In 1992, Eldon and Jan Glein purchased the property and renovated buildings, creating the Cordova Rose Lodge. The current owners took over the lodge in 1998.
